Use Cases

What Skanza is for

Skanza turns an iPhone into a precise measuring tool. The cases below are situations where we believe that precision could add real value, from how the app is used today to directions we are still exploring. If one is close to what you need, we would like to hear from you.

01

Walkable virtual tours for property listings

A listing today is a handful of flat photos. A buyer cannot walk the space, follow how the rooms connect, or see what the camera left out.

With Skanza you walk the space once. The same capture becomes a 3D model and a measured floor plan, and publishes as a panorama tour: a buyer taps a spot on the plan, looks around, and steps to the next viewpoint, from anywhere.

02

Furniture that fits, before it's bought, verified with real measurements

Buying furniture online is a guess: will it fit the room, match the colors, suit the style? Too often it comes back. Skanza turns the scan into the answer. An AI stylist suggests real products from a store's catalog, placed at true scale in the buyer's own room and fit-checked against the walls, doors and the path people walk.

Swap the sofa and the room re-renders; change the whole look with a sentence. Every piece links straight to the store. For retailers it is a new storefront: their catalog, shown fitting a real customer's home.

03

Automatic anchor placement for indoor positioning

Indoor positioning networks (UWB, BLE, Wi-Fi RTT) only work as well as their anchors are placed, and today that placement is a manual site survey. Start from a Skanza floor plan and it becomes an optimization: cover every point with enough anchors, in good geometry, using as few devices as possible.

The walkthrough below builds the idea up one step at a time, from a single distance ring to a full, georeferenced placement an installer can act on.
